Nurses
IMGMA works with DMACC to secure Contact Hours for nurses (LPN's and RN's) from the Iowa Board of Nursing for the Spring and Fall Conferences. Participants will be notified when approval has been received and the number of hours available are confirmed. After the event DMACC will issue the certificate to the individual licensee.

IMGMA works with AAPC to secure continuing education hours with AAPC for the bi-annual conferences (Spring and Fall) and for the Panel of Payers Event.
ACMPE Certified Members, Fellows and Nominees:
ACMPE participants may individually apply for continuing education credit for this program if the content relates to one or more of the six management domains in The Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management as determined by the member. ACMPE provides hour-per-hour credit (actual clock hours) subtracting time-spent for lunches and breaks. The Six domains are: Operations Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Risk & Compliance Management, Organizational Governance, Patient-Centered Care.
This is a LIVE IMGMA event that qualifies toward the "live" continuing education for the ACMPE Certification and Fellowship. Certified and Fellow members are required to accumulate 50 hours of continuing education every 3 years. For the three-year period (2022 - 2024) 30 of the 50 hours must be from MGMA National, state or local, 12 of which must be live. ACMPE CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Certificate of Attendance*
A certificate of attendance is sent to all attendees electronically after the bi-annual conferences (Spring and Fall) and for the Panel of Payers Event.
*It is the licensee's responsibility to determine if the continuing education programs they attend meet the requirements of their professional board.
