PrescribeHire, formerly known as Medical Search Institute, Inc., has provided background check and applicant tracking support to businesses for more than two decades. We work across industries to support Human Resources professionals, physician recruiters and volunteer services professionals streamline the often cumbersome process of finding the right applicant.

PrescribeHire is led by Becky Venneman, CMA, SPHR, who has served as president of the company since 2007. A former member of the Iowa Society for Human Resources Council, Becky has an extensive background in Human Resources management. This expertise includes policy development and deployment, wage/salary competitive analysis, employee benefit package management, and employee relations issues. In 2003, Becky was named the Iowa SHRM Professional of the Year.

Becky has a Master of Science degree in Business Administrative Sciences and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Iowa State University.  In addition to her duties at PrescribeHire, Becky has served as a lecturer at Iowa State University and a number of community colleges across Iowa.
