Description:
Lead a well established and growing practice with 17 physicians, 1 ARNP, 1 PA and 38 support staff with over 8 million in annual revenue. Chest, Infectious Diseases and Critical Care Associates, P.C. (CIC Associates) is a multi-specialty practice concentrating on pulmonary, critical care and infectious disease medicine has an opening for the Clinical Administrator position. The successful Administrator is responsible for the leadership and management of the organization in an effort to provide quality and compassionate healthcare in a confidential manner while encouraging personal and professional development of staff. The position reports to the physician owners of the practice. The Administrator is directly responsible and accountable for budget development and monitoring, project management, and business development. Interacts and coordinates activities with physicians, other business line administrators, and health system personnel. Requirements:
CIC is recruiting candidates who possess the following qualifications: • 5 years experience in healthcare operations or related field with progressive leadership/management responsibilities. • Must possess strong analytical skills with ability to appropriately assess data and initiate needed action. • Self-motivated, detail oriented, skilled in multi-tasking. • Financial ability to include but not limited to creating budgets, contract negotiations, purchasing communication with accountant and accounts payable. • Assures compliance with governmental regulations and standards required of accrediting organizations. • Ability to troubleshoot challenging situations • Ability to interact with all levels of external and internal customers including but not limited to, all members of administration, physicians, staff, patients and vendors. • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to lead in a healthcare facility. • Possess strong computer skills including Word and Excel. • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management or related field. • A Master’s degree in Health Care Management or related field is preferred • Possess FACMPE certification or willingness to obtain certification. • Experience with electronic claims (Allscripts) processing preferred. • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 Coding preferred. • Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
