| Manages and directs the daily business operations of Great River Clinics using operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for assisting Executive Director with Great River Clinic business integration within Great River Health System. Directs and coordinates clinic business activities including patient registration, preparation of insurance claims, physician billing, overseeing third-party reimbursement, contract administration, and management reporting. Monitors the medical billing and coding system and ensures that patient transactions are handled in an efficient manner. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures business information has been recorded accurately. Responsible for managing departmental personnel processes, including performance appraisals; staff recruitment, selection, and retention; training and education; coaching and mentoring. Promotes continuous departmental learning and improvement. Coordinates information for employed physicians to assist with overhead expense control, production, and patient access. |
| •Bachelor degree in business, accounting, finance, or health care administration required
•Masters degree preferred
•Excellent academic credentials with a track record of professional accomplishments, which demonstrate superior performance, leadership and vision
•Two to five years previous leadership experience preferred
•Prior physician practice management or accounting experience preferred
•Physician reimbursement experience preferred
•Highly developed communication skills to effectively work with all levels of management throughout the health system
•A high level of analytical ability is required.
•Must possess in-depth knowledge of healthcare/hospital/physician functions
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
•Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Access preferred |
