CMS posts quarterly CCI edits

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently posted the quarterly update to the Correct Coding Initiative (CCI) edits, Version 16.2, that took effect July 1. CMS said the purpose of the CCI is “to promote national correct coding methodologies and to control improper coding leading to inappropriate payment in Part B claims.” Access additional CMS CCI information and read the latest CMS CCI educational article.
