CMS posts quarterly CCI edits effective April

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently posted the Correct Coding Initiative (CCI) edits that take effect April 1. The agency said the purpose of the CCI is “to promote national correct coding methodologies and to control improper coding leading to inappropriate payment in Part B claims.”
